The first part of the design process is to contact our team and set up your free consultation. That can be either an online or in person meeting.

There are variables to all projects, so here are just some of the common things we do when preparing a job for a client to review and approve:

• Review plans from the designer or architect
• Measure and draw the existing space
• Evaluate the existing locations of all appliances and plumbing
• Obtain a list of all new appliances/accessories to be used
• Balance and check for proper, effective, and elegant flow of design
• Produce floor plans, elevations, and rendered 3D drawings for review
• Note any special restrictions to the space layout
• Refine and incorporate any revisions as necessary

There are several schools of thought in determining what color and cabinetry design will be the best fit for you. The sky is the limit, and here are a few ways we typically see people choose:

• Make your cabinetry the first priority, blending all other finishes to complement the cabinetry.
• Select the countertop material, then the flooring, choosing your cabinet color last.
• Design from an experience you’ve had. (i.e., a special event or an incredible restaurant, vacation spot, a beautiful picture in a magazine online, or even a painting at a gallery.)

There are so many different brands offering specific fits for each individual project. This is why we take the time to get a feel for your specific needs and only recommend a brand once we are more familiar with your ultimate vision, and budget.

This is a question that can have many different answers based on what your preference and needs are. Here are some thoughts to consider: For some clients wood is the only option. Wood has always been warm, luxurious, and timeless. With advances in synthetic materials like high-end laminates. It’s sometimes hard to tell if it’s a laminate or a wood product. That old plastic laminate cabinet has come a long way from its original conception. Many mills and wood manufacturers have made it a high priority to get that just perfect look and feel for their laminate products. We have a complete line of both wood and laminate materials. For some clients that want the beauty of wood with nearly zero maintenance then laminate may be the best option. When deciding between wood or laminate here are some things to think about

• Look (Laminate tends to be a great option when designing that sleek and beautiful frameless design)
• Price Point (Laminate can sometimes be an effective way of reducing cost, as finishing is not necessary)
• Function
• Design
• Strength
• Weight

FRAMELESS: This question normally hinges on a specific look. Frameless has that sleek minimalistic look. It is used in many applications. This type of cabinetry can be used in some of the most distinctive and elegant cabinetry in the finest kitchens, baths, and upscale restaurants and homes in the world. It can also be used in garage and utility, commercial, medical, and garage cabinetry.

TRADITIONAL: Traditional face frame construction showcases the look of the cabinet wood frame and doors as a focal point. It also has the flexibility of adding countless decorative appliqués to “Dress up the Cabinetry” giving it a unique look.

FACEFRAME INSET STYLE: As with traditional face frame construction. This can sometimes bring a new level of beauty to your cabinetry by framing the doors and drawers within the cabinet frame itself. “One of my favorite looks.”

FURNITURE STYLE: Furniture style or traditional cabinetry can have special custom legs or feet, flutes and special finishes and can accent a room or space by its standalone presence.

This is a myth. A finish is only as good as the preparation, care and application of which the finish product is made with. Finishes have come a long way in the last 30 years. We now exclusively use water-based products which are less toxic, better on the environment and in many cases, stand up better than the older solvent-based products or conversion products of yesteryear.
